By purchasing one of our homes you avoid waiting 12 to 24 months for the design and build process to play out as is typical with a custom build. Also, Old Glory Property Construction LLC funds the entire project so all you need to do is find a traditional mortgage lender rather than a construction loan lender (temp to perm financing).
Most of our projects are located in Alexandria, Virginia. With very few vacant lots available to build on we specialize in infill development and, specifically, pop top additions. By following the concept of adaptive reuse of an existing house the costs of construction can be minimized, the time it takes to complete construction can be faster and the process helps limit the building material that is sent to landfills.

Process
Old Glory Property Construction LLC identifies existing homes in Alexandria that have the potential to be expanded and updated to meet the demands and needs of modern homebuyers. Our expertise is infill construction. We buy homes that are listed by Realtors and we also buy homes directly from sellers/homeowners. In almost all cases we buy the homes as-is and without any contingencies on our offers.
After we identify a property we work with one of several local architects and designers to craft a new home that fits into the neighborhood.
As a licensed Class-A builder we act as the General Contractor for all of our projects. This includes working with the City of Alexandria to obtain the proper permits, signing on sub-contractors to perform work within line with their specialty trade, working to procure all material, and staying on for the actual construction of the home. By managing the project we stay on top of the quality of all aspects of the build.
Because we are involved with the procurement, design, and construction we know each house intimately. We stand by our work.
